About our Directors
Dorothy Thiam
Dorothy is a senior HR business consultant and undertakes senior HR function searches across industries. She has more then 18 years of experience as a HR professional with various MNCs across diverse industry segments covering F&B, Pharmaceutical, Electronics, Transportation and Shipping. She has held director level posts in her last 2 companies with regional and global responsibilities in human resources.
As a HR business consultant, Dorothy specialises in compensation and benefits at local, regional and global levels. Her expertise is in developing strategic solutions to critical organisational issues such as regional & global assignment policies, executive compensation, merger & acquisition, integration, organisation development and change management.
Thiam Lay Fong
Lay Fong founded Advent Resource Consultancy in 2000 to pursue her dream of providing quality HR consultancy services. Lay Fong has 20 years of corporate experience in the engineering and manufacturing field in various MNCs. In addition to varied stints locally, she has served as Regional and Country Manager overseeing the operation, sales and marketing of local MNC in both Chengdu and Guangzhou, China.
